This year The Huntington Rose Garden celebrates its 100th Aniversary. As part of the celebration, the Rose Garden is sponsoring a lecture series focusing on the rose in Southern California.

Rose Garden Centennial Lecture Series featuring Michael Marriott of David Austin Roses, Wolverhampton, UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to hear an outstanding speaker and expert on English Roses and landscaping with shrub roses in person. Mariott joined David Austin Roses in 1985 firstly as nursery manager and more recently as technical director giving advice, drawing up rose garden plans, writing, lecturing and generally promoting the nursery and David Austin's English Roses around the world. He has been a passionate gardener and plants person from an early age and maintains a half acre garden that is treated organically.
